Swift Water Canadian Canoe: Nomad
The Nomad is ideal for lake and river canoeing and has very good carrying capacity for touring or tripping. It is very stable with a moderate rocker for good manoeuvrability. Crafted in a traditional style, the ribs are steam bent onto formers and planked using 2" wide planks to create the hull. The planks are attached to ribs using copper rivets for a strong fixing. The construction process uses modern materials and exploits their inherent qualities to make a strong, waterproof hull.
